Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Voltage ("we", "us") provides bid management software for electrical contractors. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, organization name, and role.
  • Workspace data: bids, proposals, contacts, suppliers, attachments, and activity you create inside the app.
  • Usage data: standard server logs (IP, timestamps, user agent) for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, notifications you opt into).
  • To respond to support requests.

How we share it

We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) under contract, and when required by law.

Data retention

Workspace data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting support; we will purge your data within 30 days, subject to legal hold requirements.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@voltage.app.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is gated by row-level security so members of one organization can never read another organization's data.

Changes

We will post material changes here and notify workspace admins by email.
